| Personality: | Hambia is a bookworm and teacher's pet, that's for sure. All
those classes she took before being adopted set off a ravenous desire to learn new
things and study them to perfection, and she'll learn anything!
From hard facts to new skills to useful spells, if she finds someone who
knows something she doesn't, you can bet she'll eagerly hound them until
they share their knowledge. Her desire to learn is open-ended and impartial,
though, so Frux has always kept an eye on her: she'd be just as happy to
learn something unsavory, dangerous, or cruel, as she would anything else. She
is a true-neutral scholar, not caring for the extremes of right and
wrong-- or just not caring enough about them to want to make a choice
either way. Though she would never actually commit evil acts or want to
hurt people, she is still
of the opinion that life is much more interesting when you don't limit
yourself.
All grown up, Hambia has turned into a stereotypical cynical geek: she even has the glasses to complete the image, being slightly near-sighted. Though she could go without them, it gives her headaches, and she'd rather be comfortable than fashionable. Teasing, taunting, and bullying means nothing to her: she is exceptional at ignoring things she doesn't like. She doesn't have much in the way of friends, just fellow scholars and her little pseudo-family, and most of the time she's content with that. |
