Martyneth isn't a particularly clever dragoness. She isn't stupid, really, but she doesn't care at all for books, classes, and learning, preferring to be active and using up as much of her restless energy as she can. The only "learning" she wants to partake in is a new game or sport, or maybe a dance or, uh, a "dance". In many ways, Martyneth grew up much more quickly than her bond, and is quite a bit more mature despite hatching afterwards. Sex is one of those things, and it is just one more way for Martyneth to be "active", as it were. 

Some might say Martyneth is just a thrill-seeker, and while she certainly does love excitement and isn't one for staying at home with a good book, she does have her moments of something less than frantic energy and attention-seeking behaviors. She really does love her bond, in fact, and is in general a loving person: none of her pranks or fights or whatever else she gets involved in is meant maliciously. In fact, she even had put some study-- just some, mind you, as study is dull-- into healing magic, to undo the effects of her bar-brawls, street-fights, and honest sports-related injuries.
