Description:	Black and beautiful is Rao Vajhala, no matter which form she takes. As a demon, she has surprisingly soft, silky black fur, groomed impeccably and with a high shine. As a human, her skin isn't merely dark, it is inky, matte black. Either form, she is sleek and seductive, curved with muscle as well as her sex, with snapping golden eyes and violet hair, an attractive tumble of curls as a human woman and a shorter, more manageable shag as a demon. Her demonic additions include an obsidian scythe and trio of spikes at the end of her tail, that violet hair between her ears, and tattered, velvet-furred wings. As a human, she wears as little clothing as possible, and as much jewelry, particularly gold.
Personality:	Most of Rao's being is centered around one thing: sensuality, with a particular emphasis on sex. She is not simply sensual and sexual, however insatiable she might be for fine foods and a good few hours between the sheets, for to her, even blood is an art: she is a sadist, in the original meaning of the word, taking sexual pleasure out of injuring another. Everything else about her that is not centered around making others feel pain in order to increase her own pleasure is centered around putting herself forward and making life easier for herself, for she is both self-centered and self-serving, nearly to the point of psychosis. Everything in the world is either a compliment or insult directly to her own person-- and should you happen to insult her, her reaction will vary in the extreme, from purring at you and trying to lick your ear to exploding in violence and magic. Despite everything about her, Rao is not inherently evil, though she certainly comes across as she is. She is the essence of chaos and sensuality, but there are things that she cares about beyond herself, though her ways of showing her care are as twisted as she is. Out of a bizarre kind of respect and motherly instinct, she has never once tried to seduce her son Casequin or his half-breed hydra bond Cherek. Out of an even more bizarre kind of love, she is bent on either recapturing or destroying her former sex-slave Cacopheny, though she'd very much prefer reclaiming.

Abilities:	On top of her erratic and self-serving personality, Rao is a very powerful demon. Her psionics are fairly mediocre, but her mind is extremely powerful despite that, with enough willpower and patience to seduce and subvert the most stubborn of minds, and that strength of will is enough to augment her psionics frighteningly in some cases and for some things. Magically, she is far superior with, enough to challenge and defeat most if not all mages she comes across, and certainly every mage she has come across, though she has never tried going against several mages working in concert. She is highly intelligent, in a cunning sort of way, though her mindset and mild psychoses tend to curb her thinking in many matters. Her physical body is the only part of her that is not superior, and even then she is in fine physical shape; she simply has not bothered training it to prime warrior condition. On the whole, one would have to assume that it is a good thing for Avengaea that she has no ambitions towards world domination or even politics, for Rao could be quite dangerous of she chose to be.
