Description: Enyi Credensin, like most Avengaean dragons, has two forms: her natural, dragon form, and her humanoid form, which is rather difficult to mistake for an actual human. Dragon-formed, she is lithe and leggy, lightly furred in a dark bronze, faintly metallic and even darker than her more well-known grandfather. Her armor plating is smooth and scanty over her face but thick and rough over her legs, and colored a deep, dark brown. Fins and wing-membranes are a dark silver, and her eyes are a bright blue-green, much like her grandfather's.

Human-formed, most of Enyi's coloring holds over: her eyes are still blue-green, her skin is the same dark bronze as her fur, and her hair, long and straight, is dark silver. In dim light, it looks a sooty gray, but in direct light shines metallic; she usually wears it pulled back in braids, twists, or, after contact with the more eclectic styles of Star City, more wild and strange combinations. She is fairly tall for a fourteen-year-old, and willowy, without much of a figure to speak of-- nor does she dress to accentuate what little curvature she actually has. Her style of dress can at times, though, be as wild as her hair: she likes to experiment.

Personality: The first impression one gets of Enyi's personality is vibrancy, precocity, and intense curiosity. She has strong presence and keen intelligence, and is endlessly interested in the world around her-- but she also keeps herself firmly in check, most of the time, holding herself slightly aloof from the rest of the world(s). She is not very approachable, bearing a slightly distant and oddly intense air, and she likes it that way: she is, after all, better at coming across as mysterious than her grandfather, Aedelian. Despite her stint at the capitol city of her homeworld, Sanctuary, as a potential bonder, she never spoke to any candidates, and not even the other kits there could say they knew her very well. A few might even have called her creepy.

Her interests are perhaps more wide and eclectic than is normal for an Avengaean dragon, even an open-minded Air. Case in point: her immediate, bold attraction to the half-demon who visited her village years ago. Most of the other kits were nervous about him, instinctively wary of anyone with demon blood, but Enyi had no qualms following him around with questions. Another case in point: when her village was attacked by demons, resulting in the death of her mother and her relocation to Star City, Enyi didn't flee, but nor did she fight. Rather, she hid, and watched, fascinated. One might say she has an attraction to the darker side of life, but then again, it could just be scholarly interest. She's a bit too young to tell. At any rate, for the most part, she keeps her odder tendencies to herself when she can, not sure whether they are bad or not.

History:  Enyi Credensin was born and raised on Avengaea, in a fairly small, mountain-top village. She doesn't know who her father is, but her mother and occasional visits from her grandfather were enough of a family for her. Life was fairly dull, for the most part, except for sporadic Air demon attacks. Enyi spent most of her time exploring tunnels, studying, and playing pranks on other kits.

Then it was decided that she, of all the kits in the village, would go to Sanctuary and attempt to find a human bond in the new Bonding Project there, in the hopes that she could bring home someone more military- or at least defense-minded to help with the demons. After that, things started getting exciting. First, a rare half-demon visited the village, his caretakers seeking the help of her grandfather. She naturally was fascinated and spent the bulk of her time until they left for the city in his company. Then came the trip to Sanctuary itself, opening a whole city to her explorations, as well as offering her actually classes with actual teachers, rather than the simple Aer'venae, or local priest, assigning her books.

A year and a half passed in Sanctuary did not see Enyi bond, in large part because she found everything else in the city far more interesting than the available candidates and so didn't make much of an effort to pick one for herself. Besides, she didn't think, at the time, that she was ready to share her innermost thoughts with anyone... particularly not someone who was actively vying for access to those thoughts, like a candidate! There wasn't much she could do for her village, then, when the demon attacks increased, beyond applying what scant military knowledge she'd gleaned from her learning in the city to the problem. Not even that, though, was enough to save her mother when, several years later, a raid by not only Air demons but also a small pack of Earth demons, slaughtered half the village, Admeredith Credensin among them.

The Guard sent down from Sanctuary too late escorted the survivors with nothing left to return to, like Enyi with no family on the planet, back to the capitol and the governing body there set about sending them where they most belonged. For Enyi, that meant being sent to Star City station, with her grandfather, step-grandmother, and her young aunt and uncle.

Abilities: Like her grandfather, Enyi is psionic, specifically telepathic, though not quite to the extent he is-- and she's certainly better about keeping her mental senses to herself than he is! She is a moderate weather mage, with her best ability in controlling and communicating with wind as if it were a living being, or a collection of living beings.
