Personality:	Friendly and curious, and with a love of children that could almost be called maternal and certainly would be, were he female, Lyric is really an all-around good guy. A bit sheltered, perhaps, and in some things an innocent, but still knowledgeable enough to know what a newly bonded hatchling of nearly any species needs. Young ones of just about any species-- humanoid, dragonoid, or anything else, evil or good or in-between-- tend to trust him implicitly, confide in him, and even use him to play on! Somehow, they know he will do anything to help or protect them-- within reason, of course, for Lyric somehow manages not to be a push-over, as well. Lyric is also a very well-learned dragon whorling, and not just on dragons, bonds, and children-- those are just his favorite subjects. He'll voraciously read whatever he can get his paws on, and spends most of his evenings, after classes, deep in a book: fiction, non-fiction, it doesn't matter, he loves it all, and will do his best to instill at least a little of that love in those he teaches. Another joy for him is music, and he rarely is home without something playing on the stereo. Anyone asking him to sing for them becomes an instant friend.
History:	Despite never actually bonding himself, Lyric is very well experienced with young dragons and their bonds. For one, he's quite a bit older than he looks-- that cheerful hatchling look is somewhat deceiving!-- and is fairly well-traveled between different dragonries in and out of the Nexus, having been given a (somewhat over-protective) tour by a friend from the Ever Realms. He has combined his love of children with his love of learning new things into his profession, making him very knowledgeable about different types of dragons, their abilities and needs, and their temperaments. In his youth, Lyric had yet to discover his true loves in life, and his first love, at the time, was music. He is a great lover of music, and a fairly good singer, though he cannot play anything, nor can he read music. For a long time, he fancied becoming a minstrel and composer-- hence his name, Lyric-- but catering to adults all his life simply didn't seem like much fun. When his tour of dragonries came to an end at the mixed bag of Star City, however, he found his niche, where he is still to this day quite happily fulfilling.
Abilities:	If skill and finesse with children is an ability, Lyric has it! Beyond that, his abilities are largely of defensive-- shielding in particular-- and illusion-- both visual and audible-- types, though he can also scry for distant objects or locations within his ever-present trio of light-globes. Though he has no actual skill with music beyond his voice and improvisation, he can create audio illusions to amplify that voice into a choir, modify the sound, or really anything he likes. Finally, he has a telekinetic ability able to lift and manipulate objects and even allow him to fly, or at least levitate, given that his wings really aren't large enough to hold him. He speaks vocally, and has no telepathy to speak of.
