Description: | Ssubyrsyn Wyvryn, simply "Ssubyr" to his brothers and very close friends for ease of conversation, looks identical to his two brothers, Rythrys and Ssothrysaa. When the three of them stand together, wearing the same clothes, it is impossible to tell them apart. Each looks washed out, or perhaps frozen, with his very pale skin, a human peach in color but with a slight gray tone to it, and straight, thin, light blue hair, cut short around short but very pointed ears. The most color he has in his narrow face are his piercing, dark blue eyes that seem unnaturally large and bright against the pale of his skin. Often Ssubyrsyn will wear white, for formal occasions or when there is need to impress, which makes him seem ghost-like, but otherwise he prefers violets and various pastels, and he habitually wears gloves up to the elbow, even with long sleeves. |
Personality: | Though Ssubyrsyn and his brothers might all
look identical, they are certainly not identical in personality. On the
surface, they might act similarly, at times out of self-defense,
formality, wariness, or even mischief, but when separated or when
relaxed, differences become swiftly obvious. The things they share
include things shaped largely by their experiences together: loyalty to
each other, a tendency to not make friends easily, and a love for open
spaces, to the extreme that they become claustrophobic easily. Ssubyr,
himself, is the most flighty of the three, being prone to flit from idea
to idea, project to project, person to person, much like the breezes he
loves to work with in his magic and from which he has taken his name. He
is also the most outgoing of the three, often coming across as friendly
and even cute, if a little weird, particularly when around his brothers,
and more than a little scatter-brained.
Being very much in the present, Ssubyr isn't particularly good at thinking ahead or making concrete plans, nor does he worry much about the past. That makes him spontaneous, easily bored in comparison to his brothers-- which doesn't say all that much, given the three of them are unusually long on patience, compared to most humans-- and quick to forgive a slight. His emotions are rarely very deep, for though he is capable of deep feeling, such as his loyalty to his brothers, he sees little need for something that will bog him down in worry, fear, or anger. Unfortunately, keeping his negative emotions shallow also tends to keep his positive emotions equally lacking in depth, except on rare occasions and for rare things. |
History: | Coming soon.... |
Abilities: | Like his brothers, Ssubyrsyn's main talent
is weather magic, with special emphasis in particularly manipulating the
air to create wind, high pressure areas, or low pressure areas. He is
immune to extreme temperatures, able to control his own body
temperature, and is capable of a full mind-meld with siblings, making it
seem like they are only one person to a mental or magical probe. When in
this meld, the three of them can mirror each other, creating the mental
and magical effect of more than three minds, up to fifteen, and they can
create mild, psionic illusions.
Because of his talents with wind, Ssubyrsyn's singular ability, apart from his brothers', is the scrying of the present by using the air itself to show him images and repeat him sounds from across wide distances. He is only limited by where the wind can go. As long as what he is looking for is occurring in the present moment, and is not somehow separated from the air itself-- such as in a clean room, under an airtight shield, or across the vacuum of space-- he can see it or hear it. The farther away a scene or sound is, however, the longer it takes to find and the more energy it takes. Also, somewhat randomly, his sense of hearing is slightly more sensitive than a normal person's. |
