| Personality: | Terynesa is a very curious girl, though she
has a sound sense of propriety that keeps her from just sticking her
nose into anything or at anyone she wants-- no matter how badly she wishes
she could do just that! One doesn't have a bond as private as Koae,
though, and not learn how to respect other people's boundaries. Though she
isn't as private as her bond and would be perfectly happy to have more
than one close friend, she tends not to engage others as much as she
could, for his sake. After all, she may be friendly, but she isn't quite
as social as many of her siblings, and is quite capable of being quiet
and alone, with only her bond for company.
Also, Terynesa is an observant dragoness, particularly when it comes to other people (dragons, enkeyn, whatever) and their emotions. She is quick to learn discretion, and observant of unspoken cues about whether she's asked too much, so that once she's full grown, she'll make an excellent confidant. She might attract not only her own friends when they need someone to confide in, but she often winds up with the confidences of strangers, as well! Still, Tery will have no complaints, because it means she gets to know! At the same time, she can be a little sneaky if she really, really want to know something, or thinks it's important to know. Her careful determination is coupled with a very ambitious streak. That ambition isn't at all directed, at the moment: she doesn't know whether she wants to lead an army, cure a deadly disease, discover a lost city, or rescue somebody important. All she knows, for now, is that somehow, someday, someway, she will leave her mark on the world. |
