| Personality: | Compared to Shuu's outgoing and emotional
personality, Mahiru is an extremely quiet little one. She comes across
as unsure of herself and a little childish, dependent on others to make
her decisions and prone to quiet whining when things don't go her way,
but she's more mature than she lets on, for the most part. If it's
really important that she not get her way, or do something that
displeases her, she'll quietly accept the hardship and move on. She
doesn't like being alone, and is very attached to her brother and bond:
the last thing she'd ever want is for her protestations to make them
angry with her. The explosive fights that can occur between Shuu and
Yula make her nervous, and the thought of one of them turning a temper
on her gives her the shudders.
While her brother and bond are making music, Mahiru's the one who listens and applauds, or gives a critique of new lyrics or a twist of melody. Though she has little real desire to make music herself, she has a good ear and can be a very creative and poignant poet when she can be convinced to make a few rhymes. Every now and then, if she really likes a song, she might join in on a descant-- she has a fluttery little soprano voice and a good sense of pitch and tone-- but she's extremely shy about singing, so doesn't do it often or in company. |
