| Description: | Bold and beautiful, Sodom is a very shiny bicolor Veren
dragon. His base color is a shining, new-penny copper, kept to a burnished
finish. He is pointed, however, like a Siamese cat in rich red-bronze on
his legs, tail, face, and wings, so fully that his scales seem equally
divided between the two shades. Golden eyes, catlike in color and
expression, contrast brightly with the ruddy bronze of his muzzle and
cheeks, and his mouth is usually quirked in a grin. Sodom is a stunning
dragon, and even as a baby, he knows it.
Perhaps even more stunning, however, is that Sodom doesn't look like most Veren dragons. The clutch he hatched from, tampered with by unplugged technomages, all share one striking quality to their appearances. Rather than dulled plates in their main color, Sodom and his clutchmates have inky black and green undersides and tail spades, patterned dimly like static. The sails of his wings, the membranes of his crest, and his stubby, hatchling horns are the same, but more boldly patterned with lines of Matrix-code. Though many might call him and his clutchmates freaks, Sodom prides himself in being different. |
| Personality: | The first thing
Sodom's unwitting and unhappy bond learned about him was that Sodom is
supremely confident in himself, even proud. He knows what he wants, and he
will make sure he gets it, though he usually does so by maneuvering
situations and people to be more favorable for himself and those he sets
his mind to helping, or talking people around with almost frightening
powers of persuasion, rather than simply bullying his way into things. No,
Sodom is much too clever, subtle, and sly for that, very much enjoying
playing the manipulator behind the scenes.
That is not to say that Sodom is cruel or uncaring. To those he decides to help out or protect, he is cheerful and loyal, and to those claims as his own, whether as bonds, siblings, or friends, he is incredibly playful and affectionate. With his twin, Gomorrah, he is teasing and gentle, and when his bond Cath gives him the chance to be anything but forceful and demanding, he is even more caring-- and more teasing. He has sharp wit which he has no qualms about using on anyone or anything, whether benevolently or maliciously, and is highly active physically, as well as intellectually: he loves both to run, fly, and swim, and to study, observe, and puzzle out. |
