| Description: | Cherek grew swiftly from a roly-poly little
dragon-baby to a burly, powerful dragon adult. Though his true color is pitch black, most of the time he
looks silver, his mottling is so thick. His wyvern-wings, connected to
his front limbs rather than acting as separate appendages, and the
plating on his neck and belly are all a smoky violet-gray, the former
catching the light like a starburst. His two tails are both capped
with poison stingers.
Most outstanding about the half-Hathian hatchling is that, though most Hathian mixes breed to look like Hathian dragons, Cherek has a very obvious legacy of his Beast father: he has three heads. The central head is the most dominant, being the one he speaks from most often and the one crowned with Hathian spires of gold. All three heads have pearly, glassy eyes with no pupils to speak of. |
| Personality: | Taking after his father in personality, Cherek is suave and smiling, but also demanding and powerful. He loves to learn-- anything, really, from styles of battle and tactics to styles of lyrical poetry and gardening techniques. He is very single-minded, possessive, and easily angered, but he is less self-centered and cold than Cheran. This does not mean, of course, that he has any care or regard for "lesser mortals", but he is courteous and even gentle with his embittered, often-confused bond, Casequin. While Cherek has a powerful, even overwhelming personality, Casequin has spent most of his life being trodden down by his mother-- who Cherek has hated ever since the first moment he met her-- and finds his dragon-beast rather intimidating. |
