Personality: Though Yulee looks outgoing, and when she feels particularly safe can actually act so, she is more often quite shy and cautious. Her curiosity and friendliness is tempered by nervousness, though she is much more comfortable if one of her surrogate "parents"-- Deb or her bond, Purpura-- are directly involved in whatever friend-making she's supposed to do. In fact, she often passively refuses to even play with others if one or both of them aren't there. Thus, she's slow to make friends, and has to be coaxed into trying new things, because she's quite content with the same things she's always had, or eaten, or done. Though she's quite clever, and extremely good at keeping herself occupied and out of trouble, so far she doesn't have a lot of ambition towards learning any more than she really needs to. As she doesn't seem lazy, having plenty of energy in her quiet fashion and possessing a very active imagination, it is so far assumed that she simply easy to please.

At the moment, as Yulee is so young, things that startle or frighten her make her cry easily. Time will tell whether her emotionalism is something to be grown out of, or an actual character trait. She has a strong attachment to her "parents", and will immediately run to them if in distress, which can, on some days, be quite often. Deborah is the preferred source of reassurance, but Purpura is definitely an appreciated second choice. She has a sweet smile, though is more often seen, in the presence of anyone not considered "family", with a wide-eyed and serious stare or a face turned away to hide.
