| Personality: | A bit of a joker, though he can be serious
if he needs to be, Darren tempers his wife's passion with a cooler head
and a calmer personality. When she jumps ahead, he holds back. He loves
his work, his wife, his apartment-- well, pretty much his life in
general-- and though he isn't one to take initiative in changing that
life, he will willingly at least think about whatever suggestions
someone else has for him to supposedly improve it. Easy-going as he is,
he expects he'd probably be happy no matter what, anyway.
Darren is fairly sociable, an extravert in every sense of the word; though not exactly a social butterfly, and certainly not shallow, he does enjoy idle chatter, laughter, and time spent among friends. He has some rather odd tastes, but only odd enough for people to call him quirky rather than out-and-out weird. For example, for his last birthday, he received a custom serpent cyborbot, and he still loves it, or him, as the 'bot has determined itself, despite its rather strange personality and tendency to try and flirt with him-- or anyone else, for that matter. For another example, his anthropological focus is on magic and how it integrates into a culture-- not something many anthropologists care to research. |
