| Description: | Shy-- Chibi Shy, when being teased, or Lady Shy, when she wants to distinguish herself from her so-called father the geneticist-- is even more small and cute than one would imagine, given she looks like a little girl of between ten and twelve. Her features, however, are oddly softened, her limbs slightly shorter and more rounded than a slender child of her age, and her eyes unnaturally large in her round face. She is, for lack of a better word, "chibi"-- and it drives her positively mad how often she is cooed and exclaimed over. Her eyes are green and angled, for all their large size, and her hair long, deep brown, and silky, usually braided back with a few strands struggling free. She is rarely seen in anything but an ornately patterned kimono, tailored to fit her unusually small body, and she moves with as much grace as someone with her build can. |
| Personality: | Lady Shy-- as is her preference in
nomenclature-- is every bit as much of a genius as her father, even young,
and can come across as distant and even arrogant because of it, being
both introverted and scornful of those less intelligent than she-- making
her seem older than she really looks in attitude. However, she isn't
nearly as randy as he, especially given she's really too young for such
a thing. Whether or not she will actually grow into a personality more
like his as she gets matures is debatable. In fact, whether or not she
will ever grow up is debatable. All that is known is that she
will probably wind up in the same career as her "father", once
she reads up enough and gets enough equipment, whether or not she takes
after him in other ways. After all, she loves science in all
forms-- biology, chemistry, physics, anything and everything-- and has
both imagination, intelligence, and intensity to back up her
interest.
However like her "father" she might be, Lady Shy doesn't much like him. Though she and the other chibi-Shy creations that he set loose on the world were intended to be little data-collection minions, she flatly refuses to be used in such a manner-- or, really, any manner. She is independent, and wants to be given the chance to grow into her own talents, rather than living on someone else's coattails. She has an incredible will and determination, and doesn't waste her time with the frivolities of other little girls. |
