| Description: | Tall for a woman, with a hawk-like nose, a small mouth, and an angular frame, Dana Danui is fairly imposing. In younger years, she might have even been called handsome. She is usually gowned impressively, with her straight, raven-black hair in a twist, bun, or other severe style, and light cosmetics applied to smooth out aging skin and bring out the cloudy green of her eyes: ready for a day in court or hob-nobbing with the wealthy of Sanctuary. On a day around the house, though, one might note bits of silver leaking through the magical dye in her hair, crows feet around her eyes, and a certain care in movements that suggests the beginnings of arthritis. |
| Personality: | Despite her forbidding appearance, Dana has the kindest heart and friendliest disposition of her siblings-- which isn't really saying much, when compared to Darkil's antisocial nature and Decerin's ruthlessness. She is something of a socialite, though an aging socialite, appearing frequently in the courts of Edilion though she lives in the dragon city of Sanctuary. She has ambition, but mostly to see her many ideas for improving the lives of her people put into action, and she knows the value of expediency, though she also knows that there are other courses of action, as well. Like the rest of her family, she is highly intelligent, though she is also more candid and brusque than either of her brothers. Though she is a widow, her somewhat sickly husband having passed away some years ago, she has no children, and thus isn't very good with them, especially not her nephews, who she barely knows. |
