She is happiest when left alone with ancient texts and maps. Her choice for a new companion, the seemingly unlikely source of comfort that is the sharp-minded and -tongued Lady-Professor Idela Veshal, is still her solace, for Veshal is sympathetic to her past and quite content to involve the little devi in her own studies and teachings. |
