In fact, one could say he is downright detestable in his obvious, self-centered arrogance: he cares very little for other people except in the light of what they can do for him. It's a wonder he has any friends-- though he does! Of course, these are largely either greedy, sychophantic, or hoping for something-- protection, handouts, whatever. Living on a desert planet as he is, after all, Guneng's powers are exceptionally useful, and he makes great use of them, not for the benefit of others, but for profit. |
