Description:	Unusual for an Atuan dragon-mutt in many ways is Ardeshiri. Most obvious about her is that, unlike nearly every other genetic mix on the planet or above it, she has no wings. Less important but still obvious, she is plain-colored green, with no patterning at all-- and less obvious until you get close enough to her, she has a short layer of soft, fine fur instead of scales or hide. Her head-crest is certainly unusual, as are the gems on her shoulders, a translucent violet that matches her eyes. Even so, though, she walks with a bounce in her step, because she loves the way she looks, particularly because she is so unusual!
Personality:	The youngest of her small clutch, Ardeshiri is in many ways "the baby" of the family. She is an eternal optimist, always expecting things to turn out well-- which, of course, makes it all the more disappointing when they don't go as expected. Unfortunately, despite her optimism, she has rotten luck and things always seem to go awry for her, if just awry enough to make her trip right at the wrong time to run her nose into a rock or for her to put her foot in her mouth with the wrong person. Even so, she somehow manages to be perky, friendly, and sociable, as if even though everything is falling down around her, she's not about to let it get her down. Not very often, anyway. In the usual absence of her bond, Ardeshiri spends a lot of time with her siblings, when she can, and exploring Atu and Star City, when she can't. She is a very social creature, taking solace in friends, family, even random people she meets. Though she only rarely feels the urge to mate-- and since she has rarely met other dragons lacking wings and so able to pursue her in her own way, has done her best to ignore them-- she is quite ready with a flirt or a cuddle any ole time!
History:	Laid on Atu to a clutch of four, Ardeshiri, like all Atuan or Star City mutt-dragons, immediately bonded upon hatching, and her choice was a reluctant candidate who hadn't expected and hadn't really wanted a dragon, desert-elf Ohkah Daid. For the first three years of her life while she was growing up, her bond dutifully stuck around to take care of her, but as soon as she reached her adult size and mentality, he was swiftly off again on his business of trade all over the planet and, at times, off of it. Trying to go with him only served to get her in his way and disappoint her, so after two such excursions, Ardeshiri resigned herself to staying behind at his official Atuan home while he was away, and making trips of her own for exploration purposes. Now, Ardeshiri is relatively happy. She doesn't see Ohkah for more than a few weeks scattered throughout the year, but she's just about gotten used to that fact. At least, if just out of guilt, he spends most of his time at home at least trying to visit with her. When he's away, she usually wanders from friend's home to friend's home, with a week or two of random exploration in between, an odd job here and there, especially transporting people around the planet. It's an okay life. Not great, but quite enough for an easy-going optimist.
Abilities:	Though she cannot fly, Ardeshiri has very powerful telekinetic abilities. She can float objects towards her, manipulate them with a fair amount of dexterity, and even levitate herself with precise control, though not for long. She does have a mild teleportation ability, not nearly as powerful as her sister's: she could transport herself and possibly a passenger somewhere on a planet, but not off of it. Finally, she has the gift of vocal speech, able to talk to whoever she likes in the common Nexan languages.
